WHAT IS COUGAR CELEBRATION AND WHY IS SO IMPORTANT?

This auction represents the major fundraiser for our school. Proceeds from the auction go toward the operating expenses of Canton Country Day School and directly enhance the learning experience, providing students and teachers with items like computer equipment, supplies, and professional development. These proceeds are VITAL to the school.

The auction receives donations of goods and services from many sources in order to complete our silent and live auction packages. In addition, many donors choose to make cash contributions that are used to purchase items for the auction.  We ask our CCDS families to please donate or help us solicit donations from people that you do business with. It could be a restaurant that you frequent, businesses that you work with on a day-to-day basis, or even your hairdresser! EVERY donation is greatly appreciated!!!! The children are counting on our support.

GRADE LEVEL GIFT BASKET DONATIONS

Each year, as a way for students to participate in the auction fun, we raffle grade-level gift baskets. The baskets are displayed weeks prior to the auction and students can purchase tickets to place in the basket of their choice. These amazing baskets are compiled solely from the donations received from our families. We ask that each child bring in an item from their grade-level list or a monetary donation to be used toward the purchase of their grade-level item. There is no set amount to spend and any donation is greatly appreciated. Our goal is 100% participation.

WHO CAN ATTEND?

While many of the attendees are current parents, there are many others who are past parents, alumni, friends and family.  So, round up some of your friends for an evening of fun!

IS IT A FORMAL EVENT?

No Way! We’re serious about the auction rules, but we want everyone to have a great time. The atmosphere is casual and FUN!!

WHAT DO MOST PEOPLE WEAR?

It’s up to you.  Dress in the year's theme or just enjoy the evening in business casual attire…either is fine.  Use your imagination and get ready to have a fun time.

If you would like to be involved in our Cougar Celebration auction, please contact our office at (330)453-8279.

Participating in the Canton Country Day School Annual Golf Outing is great way to support the school and enjoy a day of golf followed by a dinner and silent auction. Whether you participate as a golfer, sponsor, or volunteer, your help with this event is always needed and appreciated.

At CCDS, we want to honor those alumns who have made an impact on the CCDS community. Nominations are now being accepted for the Distinguished and Honorary Alumnus/Alumna.  Click here to find out more about this opportunity.

Your Giving, Creates a Good Beginning

The Annual Giving fund is a source of funding that CCDS uses to bridge the gap between what parents are charged in tuition and the annual operating cost. This gap is calculated out to be about $1378 per student. We ask that if you are able, please help us bridge this gap. It is made up of yearly gifts from parents, faculty and staff, the Board of Trustees, grandparents, alumni, and friends of the school. Each year is a separate drive designed to meet the operating needs of the current year. We strive for 100% participation from every CCDS family! No donation is too small.

Your monetary gift to Canton Country Day School plays a vital role in ensuring the quality of our educational program.  You can make your gift online with your credit/debit card.  Our giving levels are:

President’s Circle – $5,000 and above

Headmaster’s Club – $2,000 – $4,999

Leadership Club – $1,000 – $1,999

Sustaining Club – $500 – $999

CCDS Patron Club – $250 – $499

Blue & White Club – $100 – $249

Friends – $1 – $99

Thank you very much for your support!
