Mary Abou-Zakhim

Mary Abou-Zakhim's passion is to work with children.  She has spent her whole life in a school setting.  This is her 25th year teaching!! She is a graduate of Kent State University.  Mary taught English as a second language overseas for 15 years and was the coordinator of The AlBashaer Preschool.  Mary spent the last nine years as a Kindergarten Teaching Assistant at St. Michael's school in Canton where she also coordinated their LatchKey Program.  She assisted Mrs. Wendt at CCDS last year and is currently working with her again this year in Early Learning.  
    She has enjoyed  watching her students learn and grow over the years.  She is extremely proud of her son who was her student in 1st grade and is now studying at Mount Union in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program.
