Amber Cole has taught at Canton Country Day School since 2016. She graduated from The University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in Middle Level Education. Her concentrations include social studies and language arts. From 2016 to 2020 she taught Middle School Social Studies and now teaches fifth grade. She has had an array of experience working with children as young as preschool and as old as 12th grade. Being a teacher is something she strived to achieve since she was only six years old! Mrs. Cole has always been a lover of learning, and is pursuing a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Kent State University with an anticipated graduation date in 2021.
Mrs. Cole has a daughter named Abby who is a current student at CCDS. She also has two stepchildren named Ava and Brady and a dog named Kozmo-Yoda. In her spare time, Mrs. Cole loves all things Harry Potter and Star Wars, enjoys being active outdoors with her children and dog, and works on project cars with her husband, Nick.
Mrs. Cole often regards CCDS as her “home away from home.”
