Edith Marina Gutierrez (Rubio)

E. Marina Gutiérrez has taught at Canton Country Day School since 2020.  She has a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Women’s University of the Sacred Heart. After completing this degree, Señora Gutiérrez earned her Studies Diploma in Teaching Training as a Second Specialty from Pontifical Catholic University of Perú, where she also completed a postgraduate program in Learning Problems. Currently, she is a senior student at Brigham Young University- Idaho, studying Marriage and Family Studies.

Señora Gutiérrez grew up in the mountain region of Perú. She enjoys cooking and taking care of her plants all throughout the year. She also enjoys spending time with her students and teaching the beautiful language of Spanish.
