Jessica Archer has taught at Canton Country Day School since 2020. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, summa cum laude, from the University of Maine; and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Photography from the University of Iowa. In 2020, she enrolled in the Museum Studies program at Harvard University's Extension School. She has over 20 years of experience in art and education. . As a teacher, Mrs. Acher follows the philosophies of Teaching for Artistic Behaviors (TAB) and Studio Habits of Mind (SHoM), which allow for choice-based instruction and student-led projects. Mrs. Archer loves helping students find their vision and point of view while sharing her wide range of experiences in many media, topics, and techniques. She has two children, Annika and Harlan, who are students at CCDS.
